Program Chairman Nancy Preffitt then showed pictures taken of our recent visit to APCUG fall 2002 Users Group Conference held in Las Vegas November 16-20. ICON Officers attending were Richard & Nancy Preffitt and Bill & Faye Patrick. All were first time attendees. ICON Users Group has been a member of APCUG, the Association of Personal Computer Users Group since 1991. One of the missions of APCUG is to encourage, promote and enable communication and exchange of information among computer users groups. We were kept busy going from one round table discussion to another. We had an opportunity to meet a number of the APCUG officers, which ICON has helped to elect during the past and present elections. We were able to meet many of the company's representatives who sponsored this fall event and who ICON has corresponded with over the years. Over 350 representatives from Users Groups all over the Country attended this fall Conference. With Comdex being held in the convention Center across town from the Orleans Hotel. APCUG furnished shuttle buses for us to attend the Comdex where many vendors from all over the world, displayed their merchandise and services. One of the exciting events was being bussed to and attending Bill Gates Keynote address at the MGM Hotel on Sunday evening. We were able to come back to Springfield with a few new ideas and assurance that ICON is doing the things that make a Users Group Successful; mainly Service to our membership.

Terry Roberts announced that computers had been Setup around the room for answering questions and showing programs. This meeting adjourned at 3:30 P.M.

Respectfully Submitted.
