Guess the Name

Think of the name of a TV Show or Movie. This site will try to guess which one you are thinking of using simple yes/no questions. I was thinking of "What's My Line", which, of course, is almost as old as TV and this very smart computer guessed it! Lots of fun !

US Search

Want to know how old someone is? This site knows. This was remarkable. I was listing all sorts of people and getting ages on most of them. Not sure they were correct, but I got ages. The site will try to sell you more information on everyone you list.

Santa Links
Get high-tech with Norad (North American Aerospace Defense Command) and follow Santa around the world. Your grandchildren will like the other two sites. They (and you) can see. just where you stand on Santa's Naughty and Nice lists, write a personalized book for the kids, find recipes for goodies and all sorts of other fun things to do while waiting for Santa to get to your house.

Ref Desk
A good site to have as a home page. Has links to virtually everything - online dictionary, Thesauras, phone books. News headlines, search, engines, weather forecasts, etc, all on one page. About the only thing that's missing is Mick Topping's web site!.

Search Bug
We seem to depend on Google for everything. Check out this site; there are many other cool search things here.
You can find people by name, address or phone number. Get a list of all your neighbors by entering your street name. You can even verify that your Social Security Number is valid and that you're not dead!

Senior Net
I'm sure that we have talked about this site before, but it warrants visiting again. There are computer-y things galore - from tutorials to tee-shirt making. Many more serious subjects and some just for fun, too. Give it a try.
