Are you aware that ICON has a library of CD tutorials to
help you learn the fine points of the programs you are using?
It's another service of your membership fee. You may select
a CD or two at our regular monthly meetings, take it home
and use it for a month, then return it at our next meeting.
This is not a full listing of the programs we have available,
but will give you a pretty good idea. If you need help with
a specific program, please let me know and we'll look for
a tutorial to put in the library for you.

Some of these are for older programs, but if you've got a
hand-me-down computer, you need to learn 98 or ME. Word 97
is still a quite usable program. If you're using it, learn
its fine points with a little study, and you'll be more proficient.
In addition to these items, we also have some Photoshop Journals
that appear to cover a lot of territory. The articles would
be of value in learning photography even if you don't use
Adobe's Photoshop.
We also have a program, "Getting Acquainted With Windows"
for Windows 98 and ME versions. Although it's a little out
of date, it contains valuable information. It's a written
version of the class Terry Roberts gave for a long time.
Remember, this library is here for your use. We'll be happy
to try to find whatever you need to help your computing life
be happier and easier.
