PREZ SEZ

by Mary Phillips

What a wonderful holiday party!!!

The location was excellent, the food was tasty and the service efficient, the table decorations were pretty and cheerful, the company was friendly and enjoyable, the entertainment was hilarious, the gifts from Terry and Sarah and Microsoft were fun and useful, as were the door prizes. Thanks to everyone involved to make this a joy-filled day -- that includes everyone who attended.

Your computer's autorun feature may be working perfectly so that the menu program on the Christmas CD runs automatically when you put it in the CD ROM drive, but mine didn't. What I did was to open My Computer, double-click on the CD ROM drive to open it, scroll down to the file named index.html and double-click on it. I like the cards and the coloring graphics, but I think I like the Elf Bowling game the best-at least I improved a little each time I played it. My favorite fonts are KRINGLE and Christmas Card. I probably liked The Squirrel's Tale the best of the poems, the Hallelujah Chorus (on a synthesizer, I think) was my favorite song but I followed a link to Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, and I tried several pretty desktop wallpapers but I couldn't see my icons so I'm back to plain blue. I downloaded Spyware Blaster from the Utilities link. SUCH a lot of work went into making this CD. Thanks, Terry & Sarah, your love for ICON radiates in all you do.

Please note the changes in SIG times on the calendar and plan to bring a brown bag lunch on those days that you can join us.

Best wishes for a joyful new year,

Mary Phillips
