EASY TO UNDERSTAND TECH TUTORIALS
I found this site in Fred Langa’s Langalist newsletter. I usually understand about half of what he’s talking about, but it’s generally interesting – in a mind-boggling kind of way. Anyway, this site has several tutorials, some of which are way over my head-- out of my interest area, but even newbies will be able to enjoy and understand some of them. Give it a try to broaden your understanding of these weird machines we love.

SOMETHING FOR THE GURUS
Again, this is from Langalist. It’s for gurus. I went there and understood NOTHING, even in the beginners’ section. There seems to be a lot of information here, though, so hopefully you gurus among us will enjoy it. http://www.only4gurus.com/v2/index.asp
GOT QUESTIONS? GET ANSWERS
Entertaining answers to thousands of questions, some of which you probably have never thought of!
I found the site a little confusing at first, but persevere and you’ll be able to get around. There are answers for most anything you can think of. Look at the software section of computers. There are lots of answers for achieving specific things in Access, Powerpoint, Word, etc. If you’re stuck in the middle of a project, this may help. There are kitchen techniques and recipes, automobile answers, how to choose wines, and on and on.

DOWNLOADING HELP
if you’re confused about downloading stuff from the ‘net, pay a visit to this site. It’s a pretty good tutorial to get you started. The Newbie Club has lots of information for beginners, but they annoy me with their sales pitches. Ignore that and learn from this one article.

FREEBIES
This site is based in Australia, so you’ll get some different viewpoints. It has links to everything from art lessons to jokes to downloads and computing advice. Some of them look pretty interesting.
