This Anniversary and Birthday Party meeting was held in The Library Center auditorium 12:30 p.m. Members and friends were offered coffee, punch and cake which a number of members had baked. Terry Roberts gave a brief history of ICON beginning on June 30th 1990.

Terry had all the charter members present to stand to be recognized and receive a hand of applause. Charles Roberts and Bill and Faye Patrick stood up. Others not present were John Loveland, Edith & Gordon Breshears, Ken & Carolyn Larson.

Nancy Preffitt, Vice President of ICON, officially opened our meeting at 1:00 PM, welcoming all who were present, recognizing visitors and ICON's newest members. A treasurer's report was given. Bill Patrick Secretary said that he was happy to be back on the job after his accident of April 18th, thanking everyone who inquired by phone and get well cards. He thanked all members who renewed their membership and those who were thinking about renewing. Faye Patrick, newsletter editor, reminded all the authors to get their articles in early.

Terry Roberts introduced our speaker Scott Turk of Ozarks Technical Community College, who explained all the different computer related courses which OTC is offering and encouraged us to take some of their classes,. After a question and answer period, this meeting closed at 2:45 PM.
