| Q. How can I install more than one version of American Greetings CreataCard programs on my computer? |
A. Let’s say for example that you have installed CreataCard Spiritual Expressions and you want to also install CreataCard Platinum 8. Start the installation and when you get to the Choose Destination Location window you will need to install to a different folder than C:\Program Files\Broderbund. Click on the Browse button and click on the Path line. Backspace to delete the folder name Broderbund and type in CreataCard Platinum 8. Click OK. Click Next. Click Full. Click Next and the new folder will be created and the files copied into it. I’ve used the same procedure with American Greetings Crafts! 7 and Scrapbooks & More! 7 by installing in new folders AG Crafts! 7 and AG Scrapbooks & More! 7. All four programs are installed and working well.
As I think about it now, the first CreataCard program I had was CreataCard Plus and it went into a folder or directory named C:\CAC. When version 4 came out, it went into a different directory and those two could reside on the same computer. Then version 5 came out, and we saw the "uninstall message"--same with version 6 and there was no option to install in any other directory. Then with versions 7 and 8 came a default directory C:\Program Files\Broderbund, but the programmers included the option to install in another directory or folder and that makes it possible to have installed more than one version of the program.

| Q. How do I get my SBC Yahoo webmail online address book and my Outlook address book to be the same? |
A. There are at least three address books—Windows Address Book, MS Office Address Book, and an online address book such as Yahoo! Address Book if SBC Yahoo is your internet service provider. Windows Address Book is the one that is a part of Windows Programs, Outlook Express, and MS Works. MS Office Address Book is a part of Outlook and the email features of Office components. Each of these address books has an Export/Import option. To make them the same it is necessary to Export the address book as a *.csv (Comma separated values) file and then Import it into the other address book.
- Go to your webmail address like you’re checking the email and click on the Addresses tab to open the address book.
- Click on the Import/Export link and you’ll see a section for Import and another for Export. In the Export section, beside Microsoft Outlook click on the Export Now button. A File Download dialog box opens, click on Save the file Yahoo_ab.csv, and put it on the desktop or a Downloads folder. Close the Download complete dialog box
- Open Outlook and click on File—Import and Export to open the Import and Export Wizard dialog box. Click on Import from another program or file, then Next. The Import a File box opens, select Comma Separated Values (Windows) and Next. Browse for the file, select it and click OK.
- Three options are now available: Replace duplicates with items imported, Allow duplicates to be created, and Do not import duplicate items. (Because my Yahoo address book is more up to date than my Outlook one, I chose the first option. Also, because one time I allowed duplicates and then spent a lot of time deleting the duplicates.) Next.
Select Contacts from the Destination folder list and click Next. Click Finish, and it happens like magic.
