Q. How does one make responses or give input to a topic or thread on ICON’S Forum?

A. It’s necessary to register, decide on a password and log in if you want to give responses or ask a question on ICON’S Forum. Once you’ve registered, it’s just a matter of log in to be able to participate. Type in your name and password and then below the topic, to which you want to reply, click on  Reply to Topic. You can continue to reply to a topic as long as necessary.

I just found some keyboard shortcuts I don’t remember using before and I’d like to share them. The following keyboard shortcuts work in most Windows programs:

Save the current document – Ctrl + S

Open a new document – Ctrl + O

Undo the last thing you did – Alt + Backspace or Ctrl Z (that one I use a lot)

Undo the last undo – Ctrl + Y

Turn italics on and off -- Ctrl + I

Turn bold on and off – Ctrl + B

Turn underlining on and off -- Ctrl + U

Launch a program’s Search or Find tool -- Ctrl + F

Go to the Address Bar – Alt + D

These shortcuts work in Internet Explorer:

Refresh the current Web page – F5 or Ctrl + R

Stop downloading a Web page – Esc

Go to the Address bar – Alt + D

Add www. before, and .com after, what you’re typing in the Address bar and go to that site – Ctrl + Enter

Open the Find dialog box – Ctrl + F

Show or Hide the Search sidebar – Ctrl + E or F3

Show or Hide the History sidebar – Ctrl + H

Toggle full-screen mode on and off – F11

Open a new browser window – Ctrl + N

Go to your Home page – Alt + Home

Open the Open dialog box to go to another Web site – Ctrl + O or Ctrl + L.

Have happy holidays!
