This meeting was held in The Community Room Of The Brentwood Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd Starting at 1 pm. President Mary Phillips opened this meeting by recognizing visitors and ICON'S Newest members.

Mary talked about the upcoming events on November 26th, The Genealogy, Windows, & Beginner SIGS, at the Library Center starting at 10 am. Other important meetings coming up soon are: December 17th the program will start at 1:00 pm, Brentwood Library. Scott Simpson, owner of Springfield Physical Therapy Center, will share with us, the potential for injury due to sitting at our computers... and how to prevent them.

Make reservation; purchase your 25 cent ticket (donation) from Bill Patrick. All ticket stubs will be placed in the hat for the door prize drawings, it gives us a head count too. This annual Christmas banquet will be held December 17th starting at 3 PM in the newly remodeled private Dining room of Ryan's Family Steak house, 2501 S Campbell. Reservation Tickets will be available at ICON'S next meeting, or contact Bill Patrick 866-1234 for more information. Each person attending will be required to pay for your own meal plus Gratuity.

Following these announcements Terry Roberts introduced today’s program. Investing the NAIC way! Speakers talked about those wanting to get started investing, suggesting they go on line to check various companies before investing.
