This meeting was scheduled and held at The Brentwood Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd, starting at 1 p.m. ICON’S President Mary Phillips opened this meeting by introducing ICON'S newest Members, recognized visitors and welcomed everyone present.

Mary outlined today’s meeting schedule, stating that after our guest speaker's presentation, those who planned to attend ICON'S annual holiday party would meet at Ryan's Steak House at 3:00 pm.

Mary Then called on Program Chairman Terry Roberts for today’s program. First, Terry updated us on the progress of March Of Technology to be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at The Library Center, 4653 South Campbell Avenue, Springfield. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. He mentioned that a lot effort and work has already been started. Admission is free. More information will be available soon.

Terry introduced Scott Simpson from Springfield Physical Therapy Center shared with our group how to use good posture while using our computers and how to avoid stress. Scott answered a number of questions from our members.

Many of us headed to Ryan’s Steakhouse where a dining room had been reserved, tables decorated by Fran Miller using center pieces and holly. Terry drew names for free door prizes, including two (2) $5.00 cash prizes. Our quick crowd estimate from advance tickets reservation was around sixty five.

This dinner meeting broke up just a few minutes after 5:00 P M.
