| Q. Where is the Classic Menu in Internet Explorer 7.0? I need File. |
A. With Windows Internet Explorer open, right click in the open space on either side of the tabs for a drop-down menu and click on Classic Menu. Another path is to click on the down arrow point beside the Tools icon and select Toolbars then Classic Menu.

| Q.
How do I put a shortcut to ICON’s website on my desktop (IE7.0)? |
A. To put a shortcut on your desktop, do the following:
- Click on Start--Internet Explorer and go to the Internet.
- Unless ICON's webpage is your home page, type into the address bar www.iconusersgroup.org.
- Click on Favorites on the Classic Menu then click on Add to Favorites, or click on the Add to Favorites plus sign
on the upper left of the screen in the menu bar
- Click on the Restore button in the upper right on the screen so you see part of the desktop surrounding the Internet Explorer window.
- Now, click on the Favorites star
and place the mouse pointer on the ICON website link.
- Click, hold down the right mouse button and drag the Welcome to ICON link onto the desktop.
- Release the mouse button and click on Create a shortcut here.
The same procedure can be used to put a shortcut for any Favorites site in the Quick Launch toolbar.

| Q. How do I know if I’ve got free SBC Yahoo Online Protection? |
A. If you have the SBC Yahoo! Online Protection that includes Anti-Spy, Anti-Virus, Pop-Up Blocker, Parental Controls, and Email Yahoo! Online Protection, it will be listed on the fly-out menu for SBC Yahoo! DSL. The icon is a silver shield and you probably have a shortcut on the desktop.
If you subscribe to SBC Yahoo! DSL and don’t have the free Online Protection, it is available from the SBC Yahoo! Software Center. Open the SBC Yahoo! Browser, go to your home page. and click on More—Download Software—Start. Put checkmarks in the boxes beside the features you wish to download and click Next. Click Install and wait patiently while the software downloads and installs. Did you notice when you clicked on More, that there is a Tutorials link also? The tutorials include all the Online Protection features. Another really nice feature is the Self-Support Tool which lets you talk with a tech person by typing back and forth. From the home page, click on Help and AT&T Self Support Tool. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on Download the Self Support Tool & Click-to-Fix.
SBC Yahoo! Online Protection is for dial-up connections also but must be downloaded one component at a time because of the size of the files. |
