This Meeting was held at The Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Boulevard.  Members and friends were encouraged to show up By 12:30 pm to help celebrate ICON’S 16th anniversary. Refreshments included birthday cake, ice cream and coffee.

 President Mary Phillips opened ICON Business meeting at 1:00 p.m. by welcoming everyone present, introducing Visitors and ICON’S newest members. She then called on Officers for reports in the following order: Vice President Nancy Preffitt. Secretary Bill Patrick then spoke and thanked everyone who had renewed their membership and those who were thinking of renewing.

 Treasurer Sarah Marshall gave a treasurer's report.

 Faye Patrick reminded all the ICON Authors that the cut off date for articles was near. Faye Announced that Penny Kubitschek, Richard Preffitt and Bill Patrick were added to the Newsletter Committee.

 Terry Roberts Program Chairman, announced Paul Ziegler, Mary Stewart, Jim Stewart and John Brockschmidt had been added to this committee. Today’s Program was given by Ron Hughes from Drury & OTC.

 A greeters & hospitality committee was appointed to work with the membership committee, they were Shirley Gagliola and Nancy Coats.

Sarah Marshall is making copies of XP Upgrade Advisor & Vista Upgrade Advisor for library for Windows SIG.

Caryl Rohwedder made appeal to our group for volunteer drivers for Meals on Wheels--Cox South.

Mary Phillips has appointed a Bylaws committee To look over ICONS' Bylaws for updating. They are Harold Hunton chairman, Charles Roberts, Bill Patrick, Terry Roberts, Sarah Marshall, Gary Kirkpatrick and Mary Phillips.

Debbie Kelsall won door prize of 128MB jump drive.
