The month of March came and our March of Technology 2007: Technology Un-wired & on the Move was a ROARING SUCCESS! The speakers were outstanding; the crowds filled the rooms; we learned about VISTA, how Web Neutrality affects us all, and the wonders of Google Earth; computer problems were solved; vendors had good information and freebies; the snacks were delicious; the door prizes were desirable; a happy Jim Stewart won the Palm Tungsten E-2; much e-waste got recycled; lots of games were played; computers were awarded to two outstanding young women for their essays; and many new people became acquainted with ICON. Thunderous applause to everyone who participated and helped. You did a great job!

Election Reminder
I do want to remind you to vote in the upcoming election, April 21, at the General Membership Meeting, The Library Center, 4653 South Campbell. The Nominating Committee Chair, Nancy Preffitt, wrote you a nice letter explaining how we are working really hard to implement the Revised Constitution/Bylaws, and included with the ballot an information sheet on the candidates. The Committee has attempted to provide you with a choice of candidates for as many offices as possible. Please give thoughtful attention when you mark your ballots.
