This meeting was held at the Brentwood Library starting at 1:00 p.m.

All ICON officers were present. Mary Phillips, President, welcomed everyone present and recognized visitors. The officers gave brief reports, starting with ICON's Treasurer reporting that our funds were building back up since the recent purchases of our new overhead projector and our newest laptop.

The Nominating Committee gave their report. They had tried to come up with at least two choices for each office.

Nominees include:

• Vice President: Marion Garrett or Jim Stewart
• Secretary: Bill Patrick or Mary Phillips
• Treasurer: Shirley Emerson or Caryl Rothwedder
• Education Chairperson: Ed Williams
• Newsletter Chairperson: Faye Patrick
• Program Chairperson: Nancy Preffitt
• Membership Chairperson: Maxine Copeland
• Web Committee Chairperson: Sarah Marshall

Only one nomination was made from the floor, which was turned down. This slate of candidates will be voted on during the General Membership Meeting on April 21, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at The Library Center (Auditorium). Members were urged to mail in their ballots just in case they cannot be present at this meeting.

Nancy Preffitt reported that the bright yellow vests are ready for the big all-day March of Technology event scheduled for March 24 starting around 8:30 a.m. at The Library Center.

Terry Roberts listed all the events which he had scheduled for this event in detail, and asked for volunteers to help man the booths.
