Chow Down

If you like to cook, eat or talk about food, try this site. Its slogan is "Food. Drink. Fun." Chow.Com covers a wide range of gastronomic topics for people of all tastes. You will enjoy getting great tips, recipes, and articles delivered to you through well-written articles, audio, and streaming video. The site also has lots of other features, including "Kitchen Confessional" by Nigel Slater, blogs about rare delicacies and other unique topics, and helpful "how-to" videos for beginner cooks. http://www.chow.com/

Random Websites

So many people have said to me that they don’t know where to go once they get on the Internet. First, update your anti-virus and then visit RandomWebsite. They say they don’t knowingly include porn, but some stuff might be “naughty.” I must have clicked on the “chooser” about 25 times and got some pretty strange-looking sites. Most were very technical, I guess. I didn’t understand anything on them! I did get to PC Magazine and About.com, but most were newsletters for various outlooks, some sales sites and some not in English. I just looked at the home pages, but I wasn’t bored. http://www.randomwebsite.com/

Popcorn Recipes

Popcorn and colder weather are natural partners. If you’re tired of butter and salt, visit this site for some new recipes such as "Popcorn S'mores," "Strawberry Popcorn Bars," and "Ginger Sesame Popcorn Brittle." http://www.popcorn.org/nutrition/recipes/index.cfm

Medical Dictionary Online

Created by Medicine Net, the MedTerms Medical Dictionary is an online resource that has definitions and explanations for over 16,000 common medical terms. Browse the extensive dictionary by either phrase or keyword. Additionally, the site also has other health-related features including the latest news from the world of medicine, a medical "Word of the Day," and sections on "Medications," Procedures & Tests," and "Health & Living."

Tic-Tac-Toe Trivia Game

You begin by clicking on one of the boxes, and then a question appears. If your answer is correct, that box will get an “X.” If incorrect, an “O.” When you get 3 “X's” in a row, you win. It’s fun for a few minutes.
