My Juno files got corrupted somehow today, so I am unable to get into all the e-mails I use to write this.  However, at yesterday’s meeting, Marion Garrett gave me a huge list of sites he’s saved, which has really saved me, too!  Many thanks, Marion!

TRAVEL PLANNING
If you’re suffering from cabin fever but can’t really go anywhere, it’s still possible to dream.  Byways has interesting trips all over the country planned for you.  Click on "Browse America’s Byways" on the home page to get to a map.  There are details of trips, maps and beautiful photographs.  You’ll feel relaxed just looking at them, and maybe you can plan a trip for real when the weather warms up.

PUZZLES AND PUZZLES
Last month I listed some crossword puzzles, but Margaret Schatz said she preferred the ones that can be done online, so I dug further.  www.refdesk.com/crosswrd.html is a site of puzzle links of all types.  I did one at www.bestcrosswords.com, which is on the list, and it tells you instantly when you’re wrong.  (Don’t even need a spouse around for that job!)

A jigsaw site that I’ve mentioned before is www.lenagames.com.  You can download Bigjig with a couple of puzzles and get a new free one weekly.  I’ve been doing this for a couple of years, and have quite a collection.  There are also puzzles for sale and many other games that you can buy most reasonably.  Download Taipei for free.  It’s a pretty good Mahjongg game.

You probably get a plethora of these in your e-mails, but www.jumbojoke.com has some I’ve not seen before.  There are lots of categories, but try the "Media" one for errors in newspapers that I found hilarious.
