Q. What new instructional tutorials have been recently added to ICON’s library?

A. Eight very good new tutorials have been added to the library and are available for checkout for a period of one month. A CD may be checked out again.

The voice narration feature in these tutorials is quite clear and easily understood (You will need your speakers turned on.); however the instructions are written as well. This group of tutorials is much better than some we have had in the past from Professor Teaches.

Q. How do I use the tutorials?
A. To install:  Put the CD in the drive and if the autoplay feature is enabled, the installation program should bring up a menu to install one or more of the Professor Teaches tutorials, Professor Answers (a search tool), or go to the Individual Software website.  Otherwise, click on Computer > the drive

containing the CD > Explore, and locate and double click on setup.exe.  An option is given for a complete

install to the hard drive or a partial one which runs the narration from the disk.  Each tutorial or Answers program you want to use needs to be installed once.

To run: Click > Start >Programs >Individual Software and click on the tutorial you wish to use.  A

profile of each user is designed to allow you to continue from where you leave off each time OR you may

select from a long menu of topics.  Each CD is broken into separate parts so you can work with only the

desired course and the approximate time for completing the topic is given.  Once you have completed a chapter, a quiz helps you practice and test how much you know.  I think you’ll be very pleased with how

informative these tutorials are.
