FUN/SILLY/FRUSTRATING GAMES
This is one I found frustrating. Look at different pictures/items and select the differences. It's good stimulation for the brain, but might cause you to throw things!

This is another “magic” one that is probably easy to figure out for someone besides me! It’s fun just to play without understanding. http://www.regiftable.com/RegiftingRobinPopUp.html
SWING, SWING, SWING
This is a listing of swing music radio stations. You’ll enjoy them if you like the genre. It’s listed as all swing, but I found some Eddy Arnold on one of the stations I was checking, so you may find a lot more variety!

THE NEW TECHNOLOGY OF PHOTOGRAPHY
If you haven’t already seen this one, it’s worth a look. This photo of the inauguration is actually 220 different photos digitally assembled together. It allows you to zoom in so you can see the nearby people's faces, the music sheets in the orchestra. At a distance, one can see the tents and people on rooftops a few blocks away on the Mall. A "zoom/direction" function on the left side of the window controls the view. After zooming in, give it a second and the photo will enhance. Here is the link or http://tinyurl.com/c8jabs

BOOKS ONLINE
One of my current pastimes is reading online e-books. Of course, I love the ones from the Library best, but there are many sites on-line where one can download or read right there. These are mostly older classics, but they became classic because of their quality after all.
Try web-books.com for a variety of types, horror, mystery, romance, short stories, biographies, dramas, history, philosophy, poetry, etc. There’s even a section there where you can publish your own works, or “improve” others’ efforts. Check under the CCe-books section if you’re interested. www.web-books.com
Bartleby.com has the Harvard Classics and the Harvard Classics Shelf of Fiction as well as many references all available to read without cost. The references are handy if you need to look up something quickly. There are encyclopedia, dictionaries, Roget’s Thesaurus, King James Bible, World Factbook and many more. www.bartleby.com

This simple site lets you know which glue to use for what. Check the “Trivia” section for interesting facts about glue. www.thistothat.com
SEWING IDEAS
If you’d like some new ideas for making décor or clothing, try this site. There are lots of ideas with pattern making instructions and good tutorials so you’ll end up with something usable. There’s lots of high fashion here, but if you check the August, 2007 archives, there is a chart to draft an A line, flared and circle skirt with complete instructions. http://wkdesigner.wordpress.com
