This meeting was held in the Community Room of The Brentwood Library starting at 1:00 PM.

President Terry Roberts greeted everyone present, ICON Members and Visitors. Terry explained what ICON is all about, and how long it has been in existence.

He asked if any officers had anything to report, and asked for a Treasurer’s report.

Terry announced that he was required by the by-laws to appoint in February, a nominating committee for the upcoming election in April. He appointed Robert Ewald, Mary Stewart and Randy Jones to the Nominating Committee.

Terry then introduced the speaker from Springfield Greene County Library, Renee Brummett, Reference Manager, Brentwood Branch Library. The topic of her presentation was "Your 21st Century Library" (Digital Media)...Including CDs, DVDs, Downloadable E-books, and Public Computers, as well as Services offered via their web site, such as: subscription Databases, subscriptions to publications, reserve books for checkout, track books you've already checked out, pay overdue fines, etc. Renee stayed and answered questions from several members after the conclusion of her presentation.
